Woodside, South Australia
This winery project entailed the construction of several wine processing buildings for dry goods, barrel storage and a bottling hall. In addition to this, Ahrens delivered the design and construction of a cool room, office and workshop facility.
As part of our scope of works, Ahrens also completed the steel, footings and retaining walls.
BAROSSA VALLEY CHOCOLATE COMPANY
Tanunda, South Australia
Ahrens were engaged by Chocolate Ventures Australia to design and construct a brand new chocolate factory and experience facility to be used by Barossa Valley Chocolate Company.
The $5.5 million-dollar facility combines a chocolaterie, retail shop, cafe, ice creamery and cellar door nestled amongst mature gum tree and vineyards.
Two Wells, South Australia
Ahrens were engaged by Timbercorp to build a processing and packing facility for their expansive hydroponic truss tomato glasshouse project. The full turnkey project included the construction of the main building, offices, inspection rooms, and plant and equipment rooms.
Additionally, Ahrens supplied and installed the concrete floors for the glasshouses and built a series of underground pits to house all of the water and air pipelines for the processing plant and the glasshouses externally.
ST HUGO WINES
Rowland Flat, South Australia
In addition to a number of projects Ahrens had successfully completed for Pernod Ricard Pacific, Ahrens were engaged to redevelop the St Hugo winery visitor centre located in the Barossa Valley.
With a total building area of 1,050m2 spanning over two floors, works included a stone lounge, cool room, dry storage areas, tasting rooms, restaurant, back of house areas, staff room and amenities, external terrace and courtyard.
