Grassdale Feedmill
Ahrens designed and constructed a steam-flanking plant and bulk grain storage facility, as well as six additional buildings for an a feedlot complex for Mort & Co. The construction process ran smoothly due to Ahrens undertaking the entire project, from design to manufacturing and erection and the electrical work. Three 650-tonne Webster's silos, from the Ahrens' product range are a feature of the feedmill, which caters for 62,000 head of cattle. Mort & Co is thrilled with the results and is experiencing higher productivity when compared to industry benchmarks.

Charlton Feedmill
Safety was a key focus of the design and construction of this steam-flanking plant and bulk grain storage facility for Elders in Charlton, VIC. Ahrens designed the elevated flaking mills with no downstream mechanics and built them around the existing mill to maintain production at all times. The reliability and increased productivty of the new plant, as well as a higher level of safety throughout the operation, delighted the client, leading to additional contracts for Ahrens.
