Ahrens connected with SA children’s charity Kickstart for Kids in 2017 by donating all the breakfast food, plus two staff members every Thursday and Friday of the school term to support disadvantaged students from a
Gawler school.

Currently, Ahrens has a dedicated pool of people who volunteer their early mornings on a rotating roster, and enjoy the social interaction with the young people.
Each year when our people mark their first anniversary with Ahrens they are encouraged to support their local community through our unique in-house Employee Donation Scheme.
The initiative enables the individual to nominate a charity or cause they are passionate about to receive a donation from Ahrens on their behalf.
On the last Friday of each month our people are encouraged to wear casual clothes in exchange for a gold coin donation to support Ahrens Causal for a Cause fundraiser.
All monies are donated to charities, with the theme in line with current events and causes close to our people and communities’ hearts.
Ahrens’ lengthy affiliation with the globally recognised Duke of Edinburgh Ambassador Program is the company’s way of supporting young people to build their confidence through organised ventures.
