Ahrens Woomera Ave Development

Ahrens completed the full, turnkey Woomera Avenue Development project, including design, construction and bulk civil works to clear the site and build up the working platform. Offsite fabrication of the structural steel allowed for efficient assembly of the 141m long by 71m wide warehouse, which features a single row of central columns, maximising open space for ample racking.

The project consisted of precast walls, steel cladding, fire sprinklers, electrical systems, and hard burnished concrete floors. A 300m² open-plan office with toilets and kitchenette, over 5,000m2 of concrete hardstand, 1,500m2 of bitumen staff parking, landscaping and fire and stormwater tanks were also included in the build.

Despite the challenge of not having a tenant during construction, careful planning ensures the facility is fit for purpose for any future occupant. Positioned on a corner, the building boasts excellent street appearance and multiple access points, making it a prime leasing opportunity.
