Ahrens were engaged by Charter Hall to design and construct a new world-class facility for Metcash at Gepps Cross SA. This 70,000m2 facility will improve the Metcash supply chain, providing a greater range capacity for grocery, perishables and liquor items.
Scope of works included a 52,000m2 ambient warehouse as well as 14,000m2 of temperature-controlled warehouses consisting of a 9,000m2 chiller and 5,000m2 freezer.
Ahrens are proud to be continuing a long-established relationship with the client, with this being the seventh project Ahrens have completed for the company in the past 20 years.
