As the first project in the new Parafield Industrial project, Ahrens was tasked by long-standing client GIC Australia with delivering a 15,500m2 warehouse style construction. This project features the primary Masters facility, a new Officeworks building and a third tenancy building - as well as a new service road to the rear of the development.
Masters had specific requirements for Ahrens to consider as well as design requirements for building adjacent to an airport. Adding to these challenges were unique goals and objectives set by each business independently and council requirements. Careful planning and strong communication between the Ahrens site team and external contractors was paramount in the project’s success.
During handover of the completed project, the Masters Development Manager was quoted as saying “This is the best Masters facility that has been delivered to date”.
