Pickering Transport Warehouse & Office

Ahrens were engaged to design and construct a warehouse and office facility for the Pickering Transport Group, one of Australia’s leading professional carriers.

Scope of works of the Renmark complex included the supply, fabrication and erection of a 500m2 freight shed with an open awning structure that featured welded beam columns and rafters, along with a 284m2 office and amenity area.

The 1,276m2 building area was also complemented by a 700m2 car parking space, which provided 26 car parks for the client. Pickering Transport has since been able to use the facility as a transport depot to action their delivery schedules while adapting to changing markets and the need for growth.
