Ahrens Mining & Industrial Services WA – Major Projects team completed 1.43 million-litre water tank replacement at a remote Pilbara iron ore site.
Working in collaboration with Pioneer Water Tanks, the project involved complex staging to maintain mine operations, including the installation of a 500,000L temporary tank and critical water diversion systems. A new tank was installed after decommissioning the original 35-year-old structure, with upgrades completed during a tight 8-hour shutdown. Delivered safely and without incident, the project highlights Ahrens’ in-house capabilities and seamless end-to-end delivery for major infrastructure works.
